Abstract:
This standard identifies categories for basic library statistical data reported at the national level, and provides associated definitions of terms. The Z39.7 standard has also been released as an online data dictionary. This dictionary includes a mapping of the data elements in the standard to the specific library surveys that collect and report that data element.
